Monday, Aug. 30.
Great trip home on Sat.
Rosalie and I worked on office stuff for awhile Sunday so I really felt ahead today.  Had to get a new battery for my car, however, which took much of the morning.  Great improvement.  It hadn't stopped but it was sluggish turning over, the clock was wrong, and a strange radio station was the default when I turned it on.

The weather was actually delightful tonight - 81 and breezy.  Delicious Japanese Bento box for supper.  It's so nice to see Nev.  Yours are all great, but he is mine and such a lover.

Updated last entry to include the next trip to NY.  The doctor wants to see Lois after the second chemo to just see how she's doing.  So we'll be in NY Sept. 15 & 16.  It'll be great to see Connie.

Talked to Deb and  Connie tonight.  They're looking forward to a nice long Labor Day weekend together in VT.  Deb's bedroom is being painted so they are sleeping in the apartment.  Oh where, oh where will the cats sleep????

Tues. - Thurs. Aug. 17 - 19 had great consulting job at a school in Jacksonville
                                           Beach, FL.  Got home Thurs. night.
Fri.   Aug. 20   left Fri morning to get to CT by noon.
               Lois had had second tooth pulled Thurs. but neighbor Lois looked
                                           after her and it was an easier tooth.
               Getting Lois on good food and exercise this week.
                                            Looking and feeling better already.
               While here, saw nutritionist, oral surgeon for release, Dr. Grise to
                                            update on month, and chemo starting again on
                                            Friday, Aug. 27, after a month off.
Sat.  Aug. 28  Helen fly to FL
                Working for two weeks on "home stuff"   Mom's birthday
                                            celebration in Clearwater on Sept. 5.
                                            May start in a Jazzercise class  :)
Sat. Sun.  Sept. 11, 12   OMTEI weekend 8-5:30.  I'm teaching
Mon.  Sept. 13  Helen to CT
Tues.  Sept. 14  Lois to get "functionality test"  for cognitive and emotional
                                            baseline.
Wed. Sept. 15  Lois and Helen to NY for MRI at 4:00.   Then on to spend
                                           the night at Connie's.
Thur. Sept. 16  Meeting with Dr. Boockvar in NY (11:45) to discuss MRI.
                                          Drive back to CT
Fri. --  Just get caught up and have fun.

Greetings from Connecticut

It is beautiful and cool here in CT.  I arrived last Friday and Lois and I have been very busy.  She got a clean bill of health from her oral surgeon on the two extractions and her regular doctor says she is very healthy.  It's been rainy and cloudy but is supposed to clear up tomorrow.  We may go to the Dahlia Show.  She starts chemo Friday after a month off to help gums heal.  I go home Sat. for two weeks and then will be back to enjoy Fall.
